Jungle Love Festival 2

Jungle Love Festival 2

Installation and fabrication of 80 handmade windsocks on a hill in Kabi Kabi country. This project is about the weather, giving festival goers a chance to see a real time mapping of wind speed and direction in a landscape.

Respect the weather.

Our socks were made from one of the last batches of Australian cotton to be spun and woven in Australia. All processing facilities have now moved offshore. Each sock was hand sewn in our studio by volunteers and threaded onto a paint roller which allowed it to spin.

Our mate Marilena Hewitt made a film alongside the work. Watch the film here
