Our Off-Form table is meticulously crafted in our Brisbane studio using construction waste. We salvage wet excess concrete from building sites, blend it with reclaimed oxide pigments, and pour the mix into our reusable formwork. The name 'Off-Form' originates from the process of casting concrete in reusable forms, resulting in each piece acquiring character from the reuse of the form.
Each surface rests on a base made from the core of an Australian endemic Hoop Pine tree. The cores are typically discarded after the tree is peeled to make plywood. We source ours from Austral Plywoods, 2kms from our workshop in Yeronga.
These tables are suitable for internal use only due to the characteristics of the pine.
Top: Solid reinforced concrete salvaged from building sites with surplus natural pigments. Food grade sealant.
Base: Hoop Pine heartwood and plywood.
Note: As our product is made from reclaimed materials each table will differ slightly and may have minor markings or colour variations from the images shown. Off-Form tables will have markings and pin holes, consistent with an Off-Form concrete finish.

Tables are made-to-order and available for pickup or delivery within six weeks of ordering. If you require your table sooner please email us to check availability as we sometimes have limited stock ready for sale.
Delivery is available Australia wide or items can be picked up from our Brisbane Studio upon notification.
Please note, your table will be strapped to a timber pallet and delivered kerbside. From here it is a two or three person job to carry the top and base into position. If you require a white glove delivery service please email us at studio@fivemileradius.org and we can quote on this separately.
