ABOUT

Founded in 2016, Five Mile Radius is a cross-disciplinary design consultancy and manufacturing studio based in Yeronga, working across Australia. Our mission is to pioneer a sustainable construction culture, fostering collaborations that elevate local resources, skills, and stories.

We integrate architecture, interiors, material consultancy, and fabrication under one roof, delivering innovative, commercially viable solutions that push the built environment towards a more circular future. From adaptive reuse and fitouts to large-scale fabrication, our work champions low-carbon, bio-based, and reclaimed materials, embedding sustainability at every stage of design and construction.

Since 2019, we’ve diverted nearly 50 tonnes of waste from landfill, contributed to over $5 million in circular economy-focused building projects, and established a reputation as one of Australia’s most forward-thinking design studios.

Our collaborative approach, technical expertise, and proven outcomes make us a trusted partner for government, commercial, and private clients seeking real, scalable solutions in sustainable design.

We provide architectural and interior design that is circular, sustainable, and material-conscious, alongside material consultancy that helps clients navigate sourcing, reuse strategies, and carbon-conscious selections. Our custom fabrication services bring these principles to life, crafting furniture and architectural elements in our Brisbane workshop, ensuring every project balances sustainability with precision and purpose.
