Overview
Installation of 80 handmade windsocks on a hill in South East Queensland. This project is about the weather, giving festival goers a chance to see a real time mapping of windspeed and direction in a landscape.
Notice the weather.
The socks were made from one of the last batches of Australian cotton to be spun and woven in Australia. All processing facilities have now moved offshore.
