Waste Terrazzo, Custom Slabs
Waste Terrazzo is a reinforced concrete surface formed from 100% Australian construction and demolition waste. By working directly with local builders and demolition partners, Five Mile Radius has developed Australia’s only decorative concrete surface made entirely from waste concrete overpour and crushed building debris.
Designed for commercial hospitality, retail, workplace and public environments, Waste Terrazzo is fabricated to order as benchtops, tabletops, servery counters, bathroom vanities and street furniture. Each piece combines excess wet concrete with client selected recycled aggregates to create a durable, polished surface that is both robust and materially expressive.
Surfaces can be tailored to suit your project’s palette and brand identity. Standard aggregates include brick, tile and stone, with options to incorporate brass, copper, glass or client supplied materials. Finishes range from minimal and refined to bold and geometric.
Waste Terrazzo is used by private and commercial clients Australia wide, including The University of Queensland, Brisbane International Airport, Southside Restaurant and the Brisbane City Council, to name a few.
Pricing is based on a square meter rates.

Sealant: Food grade sealant.
Base: If required, welded steel reinforcing offcuts, blackened. Variations available.
Edges : Edges can be polished or unpolished, they are unpolished as standard. Please confirm at the time of ordering.

Waste Terrazzo slabs are available for pickup or delivery within 4-12 weeks of ordering. When we provide a quote for your order we will provide an anticipated lead time.
Delivery is available Australia wide or items can be picked up from our Brisbane Studio upon notification.
